Drobínek

The young shoemaker Drobínek knows how to repair shoes well and loves Mančinka. But because he lacks self-confidence, he cannot confess his love to her, and he cannot defend himself against the tricks of his neighbors. Until a magical grandfather intervenes in his life. In the end, however, it turns out that Drobínek can do without magic and spells, he learns to rely on himself and cope with everything.

The joyful celebrations at the royal festivities are suddenly interrupted by a juggler's attempt to kill King Gregory. The astronomer Petr, who saves the king, is accepted into service for his deed. Three musicians try to help the two lovers with magic, and when Petr manages to save the king from death a second time, it seems that the astrologer's dream will come true and he will finally win the princess's hand.
