Between the highs and lows of a quixotic trip, the challenge will reveal bigger than the two expected. Only through friendship, Cocco and Stefano will be able to reach their dreams.

Sanyo Electric Tramway carried 586 million people through Shimonoseki City over the 45 years of operation, from 1926 to 1971. Based on colour footage and photographs taken by former city employee Seiichiro Tomura using an 8 mm camera on the last day of operation, and featuring rare audio recordings of the train interior and the farewell ceremony, this documentary is a nostalgic look at the history of the city.

The voices and lives of the departed are included in clips from amateur videos from the 1990s. Set against the background of old friends’ attempt to understand their deaths, this film is about nostalgia and how memories kindle a special kind of love for home.

We see famed costume designer Edith Head at work on a production. The Costume Designer was part of The Industry Film Project, a twelve-part series produced by the film studios and the Academy. Each series episode was produced to inform the public on a specific facet of the motion picture industry. Preserved by the Academy Film Archive in 2012.
