Uros the Stupid

The Zivkovic family lives on a hilly village, on cleared part of land. Having many relatives, their lives are interlaced, and jobs distributed. Their biggest problem is a family that lives on the village edge and whose members steal, and Uros the Stupid, single and infantile Markovic family member. Suddenly, postman brings the telegram saying that some forgotten cousin from America has died and left two million dollars of inheritance. Unrest enters life of peasants. Everyone has some idea on how to invest the money, feeling at the same time that they don't need it. All of their actions will end differently from what they expected.

People of Montenegro are known for their specific mentality and system of values, not unlike Sicilians, Corsicans or Cretans.

Invasion of Prchevo

In a small village of Prchevo in 2006, Montenegrin independence referendum takes place. But in this part of the world, the locals hide American citizen of distant Montenegrin ancestry, in order to make him "their man" against Montenegro's independence. USA looks for its citizen through NATO troops, and the air raid on Prchevo is about to begin.

Local Vampire

When a passive young businessman is conned and thrown into great debts, he and his mother concoct a desperate escape plan - to fake his death, stage a funeral, then hide him out in the attic. When he sneaks out to visit his girlfriend, he is spotted by the neighbors, who jump to the conclusion that he is a vampire risen from the dead. It's not long before the news of a lurking vampire attracts waves of tourists, including some mobsters who aren't completely sold on this whole vampire story.

When Mountains Cry

Heavily pregnant and in the early summer heat, Mina has wandered up into the Montenegrin mountains in search of answers to the problems she is facing with her partner, Daniel. She longs for him, but she is full of doubt. A woman in the mountains tells her to find a dying tree and cure it by tying yarn around it - doing so will give her clarity, the woman says. On the way to the dying trees, Mina reflects on her relationship with Daniel. The task is challenging and puts Mina to the test, but the journey gives her a break from home with Daniel and all the noise of past events with him. She finds the silence and peace of mind she's been missing, and finally she is once again able to see her own life and Daniel in a clear light.
