The band Tataturk was one of the best and most progressive Czech rock bands of the 1990s. Everyone knew hits such as Černej písek (Black Sand) and Vánoce na poušti (Christmas in the Desert). They sold out Strahov Stadium, played with U2, and even performed at Václav Havel's birthday party. They were also popular in Turkmenistan, where their hits became a symbol of the "Turkmen Spring." Where might they be today if a bomb hadn't exploded at the airport when they were flying to Turkmenistan for a tour...

Doctor Petypon, a respectable doctor, partied until early morning at Maxim's. His best friend discovers him asleep at noon under an overturned sofa. From the bedroom comes the Môme Crevette, a dancer from the Moulin Rouge. She is forced to pretend to be his wife. The New World Order

Harold Pinter's play, "The New World Order" was first performed on July 19th 1991 at the Royal Court Theatre Upstairs, London. The following is Richard Corso's film adaptation starring Cody Dermon (as Des), Haydn Winston (as Lionel) and Tyler Compton (as Blindfolded Man).

The rapper and slammer Abd Al Malik offers with this "musical tragedy" a contemporary staging of "The Just", a complete creation, faithful to the text of Camus, but reinventing a scenic and musical language resolutely inscribed in our time.
