Planet of the Apes

Two astronauts and a sympathetic chimp friend are fugitives in a future Earth dominated by a civilization of humanoid apes. Based on the 1968 Planet of the Apes film and its sequels, which were inspired by the novel of the same name by Pierre Boulle.

The Animals of Farthing Wood

The Animals of Farthing Wood is an animated series created by the European Broadcasting Union between 1992 and 1995 and based on the series of books written by Colin Dann. It was produced by Telemagination, based in London, and La Fabrique, based in Montpellier in France, but also aired in other European countries. The first countries to air the series were Germany and the United Kingdom, in January 1993.

Immortality

Mo Ran is the young disciple of the most powerful cultivator in the world, Chu Wan Ning. Due to misunderstandings and general differences, the two have been at odds with each other. Chu Wan Ning finds himself helpless in the face of Mo Ran's teenage rebellion and the two keep on drawing further apart. Unbeknownst to Chu Wan Ning, in a past life, Mo Ran and Chu Wan Ning's animosity ended in great bloodshed and misery when Mo Ran turned to the dark cultivating techniques. After the past life ends, sixteen-year-old Mo Ran wakes up with knowledge regarding the events of that past life. Believing he can change his tragic end this time around, Mo Ran sets out to change the course of events as he knows them but soon finds out things are not as they seemed to him.

A Moment But Forever

In order to retrieve Heavenly Realm’s treasure, Goddess Wu Shuang descends to earth to assassinate Yuan Zhong, the high priest of Youhu Clan. In the process, Wu Shuang discovers other secrets, and the two fall in love and join hands to save the world.

Aquila

Aquila is a British children's television show which aired on the BBC from 1997 to 1998. An episode was aired once a week, and was based on the story of two boys, Tom Baxter and Geoff Reynolds, who find a spacecraft when digging in a field. It was based on the book Aquila by British author Andrew Norriss and set in Bristol.

The common link was that all came from the talented pen of Agatha Christie, all were entertaining and each drama was carefully crafted and well cast with many of Britain's best known actors of the time represented.

The Phoenix and the Carpet

The Phoenix and the Carpet is an eight-part British miniseries based on E. Nesbit's 1904 fantasy novel of the same name. Produced by the BBC, it aired from 29 December 1976 to 16 February 1977. Four Edwardian children find a strange egg in their newly-arrived Persian carpet. It hatches into a Phoenix bird that grants wishes and also transforms the rug into a magic carpet, which takes them on a series of adventures all over the world and at home.

Izumiko Suzuhara (15) was born and raised at Tamakura Shrine, and always destroys any electrical device she touches. She decides to try living in the city, and enrolls in Houjou High School in Tokyo. With her are her guardians son and Izumiko's childhood friend Miyuki Sagara. While she's there, an entity called "Himegami" appears. She learns she is something called a "kami" a vessel for a shinto spirit, while Miyuki is a "yamabushi", a warrior meant to protect the "kami."
