When an epidemic occurs in Foshan and the shop's medicine is found to be the cause, the shop owner is accused of murder and is imprisoned. In order to help release her father, the family's only daughter, Dou Gaai-kei, sets out to investigate.

Ching Ka-ying and Koo Ching-king are lovers and Chinese medicine graduates. Ching-king chooses to continue with his medical studies, causing the couple to end their relationship. Ten years later, the duo run into each other again. Ka-ying has become a public Chinese medicine center service supervisor. Although Ching-king is a Doctor of Chinese Medicine, he works under Ka-ying as her subordinate as he could only apply for the position of CM trainee practitioner. Even though the duo often quarrel due to their different beliefs, they are benevolent medical practitioners hoping to use their medical knowledge and experience to help patients. Despite the fact that there are many restrictions placed on CM practitioners in the health care system, they jointly oversee a contingent of novice CM practitioners, including Lo Yuen-chi, Yuen Si-si, Tong Siu-kwong and Pang Ching-mong. Together they create what they regard as the ideal Chinese medicine center and boldly go down the road to benevolence.

Steven Seagal: Lawman

Steven Seagal: Lawman is an American reality television series on the A&E Network which stars actor and martial artist Steven Seagal performing his duties as a reserve deputy sheriff in Jefferson Parish, Louisiana. It premiered on December 2, 2009. "I've been working as an officer in Jefferson Parish for two decades under most people's radar", said Seagal in the premiere episode, "The Way of the Gun". "I've decided to work with A&E on this series now, because I believe it's important to show the nation all the positive work being accomplished here in Louisiana—to see the passion and commitment that comes from the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office in this post-Katrina environment." Seagal's current rank of Reserve Deputy Chief is largely ceremonial.

Andrew Marr's The Making of Modern Britain is a 2009 BBC documentary television series presented by Andrew Marr that covers the period of British history from the death of Queen Victoria to the end of the Second World War. It was a follow-up to his 2007 series Andrew Marr's History of Modern Britain.

Beyond the Darklands

Beyond the Darklands is an Australian true crime television series that airs on the Seven Network. It is narrated by Samuel Johnson, with each episode focusing on a certain criminal, with commentary from clinical psychologist Dr Leah Giarratano providing insight into the minds of the criminal. After screening the first four episodes in early 2009, the show was taken off the air, only to return later that year for a further four episodes. Via a phone call on 11 November 2009 a Channel Seven spokesperson confirmed that the show will be returning in the New Year with new episodes. Due to a court injunction Channel Seven was prevented from screening the episode featuring Peter Dupas in Victoria. Beyond the Darklands Australia is based on the original New Zealand series and book created by the New Zealand clinical psychologist Nigel Latta. The TVNZ series has been shown in Australia on the ci channel on Foxtel.

Fraud Squad TV

Fraud Squad TV is a Canadian half-hour documentary television series aimed at bringing awareness to the public about the global problem of fraud. The series premiered September 24, 2007, on Court TV Canada. The show interviews real people who have been the victims of a fraud as well as experts in the field who offer tips on how to avoid becoming a victim. The series educates and thereby protects unsuspecting victims from all sorts of scams. The show is expected to begin its second season in late 2009. Each Fraud Squad TV episode is split into two fraud topics per episode.

Worzel Gummidge Down Under, adapted from the books written by Barbara Euphan Todd and the children's television programme produced and broadcast in the United Kingdom named Worzel Gummidge, starring Jon Pertwee. The story continued in New Zealand when Aunt Sally was sold to a Museum owner.
