Produced by Granada Television in Manchester, Island at War had an estimated budget of £9,000,000 and was filmed on location in the Isle of Man from August 2003 to October 2003. In the early 1940s, the war of resistance against Japan was in full swing, and it had reached a critical juncture. Da Hua Qing broke her family and wanted to save her husband, but could not change her husband's fate. Da Hua thus hated Xia Jia He, who had harmed her and lost her happy life, so she seized the radio station and did not return it to the other party.

In the midst of the impassable landscape at the foot of the Alps, a young group of serious offenders is undergoing an experiential educational program intended to rehabilitate them. Demob

Demob was a short-lived British comedy-drama television series, which screened for one six-episode series in 1993 on ITV. The series was set in the late 1940s and early 1950s, and starred Martin Clunes and Griff Rhys Jones as two ex-army friends who decide to try to form an entertainment act, with the aim of getting work on BBC radio. The series also starred Samantha Womack, Amanda Redman and Les Dawson.
